FALL OVERSEEDING

Overseeding is integral to growing a healthy and lush lawn. Its process is planting grass seed directly into existing turf reviving damaged plants caused by lack of water, heat or heavy foot traffic with minimal disturbance to the soil or grass. It helps fill bare spots, improves the density of turf, and enhances lawn color. A lawn that looks old or just “worn out,” overtaken with weeds, or is disease or insect-prone, is a perfect candidate for overseeding.

Fall is an ideal time to overseed due to the conditions of the soil being still warm enough for seeds to germinate, while the cool air allows grass to grow a strong root system.
